Il 15 Luglio del 1989 i Pink Floyd suonano a Venezia, su un palco galleggiante davanti a Piazza San Marco, nel giorno della festa del Redentore. Al memorabile concerto di Mason, Wrigh e Gilmour, assistettero oltre 200.000 persone, e venne trasmesso in diretta televisiva mondiale (con un audience stimata di oltre 100 milioni di telespettatori).
